Guest guest
Hi, (Sorry if this shows up twice - my messages don't seem to be going though) I was wondering .... in reading the ABLLS, I see many areas left to target in the " advanced learner " mode. I see quite a few social deficits and group instruction problems that we strongly need to address. (this was not news to us but the higher goals listed in the ABLLS seem like we have a tremendous way to go) Thus, my question. Does the ABLLS have some type of age equivalency to it? Like.. would a typical child be proficient in these skills by a certain age? Verity is 6 and will be repeating Kindergarten next year to give the social/maturity and language some extra time. The academics do not present any problems at this time - she tests age appropriate. But the social interaction - while it is present - is no where near most of the items listed - we would get a big " 0 " on most of those. Long explanation for short question. But wanted to give you a frame of reference. Thanks for responding. Droze czd@... ton SC
