Guest guest
You can use any sort of plain yogurt as a starter, goat or cow milk, as long as it is bacterially active. Goat milk is generally better tolerated for people, and I've heard storied about goal milk reducing allergies towards the things that goats eat, which would be helpful for a lot of kids too. I think because goats are more resilient to a place like Cyprus than most milk cows, you'd be more likely to find healthy goats and health goat milk. Instructions for the SCD yogurt are in the Vicious Cycle book, which I think you said you had. I turn the scd yogurt I make into frozen yogurt, adding a berry puree and my son really likes that. You can make these into lollies easily.
