I wouldn't accept that at all, no way whatsoever.

What information is in there that would require the presence of a legal

team when reviewed by you:-0? If you had a private speech therapis and

you paid for it, wouldn't you get a copy?????

I'd contact the Citizen's Advice Bureau first.

I'd also look into what you can get via the Freedom of Information Act...

Rubbish! You have a right to a copy of your son's health records - fee may be

between £10 and £50. If you speak to the local PALS service of the PCT they

should be able to tell you how to go about it.If the fee is £50 then perhaps

it's worth getting all the PCT files on your child eg paediatrican, Occupational

Therapy, physio etc at the same time. They still can't charge more than £50. And

they can't withold them unless there is material that would harm the child if it

were released.

thanks everyone,

rang pals, requested my sons health records, they did not have a problem with.

Thankyou so much it is such a relief to know that I can post on here and get a straight answer.
