Can I just butt in here and ask why some choose TLP as opposed to Light and Sound Centre or the other one in London forget the name now? Our paed has said she will write to PCT for funding to the Light and Sound Centre as they are an NHS provider but not holding my breath.

Meant to add that Cerebra told me they wouldn't fund sound therapy but that was over the phone, maybe I should have filled in an application form instead.

For me I can do TLP at home, much easier than travelling to London with ASD kid and staying there fro 10 days, if that was the only option I would never have done it at all

hi, i am not going to much of a source of info ,i have not heard of the light and sound cntre maybe need to look it up. The Tlp as far as i can tell helps the auditory pathways to develop to the brain resulting in better haering and resultant greater possibility of speech. I am just desperate to help his speech. there is tomatis and sound healing, mindsounds but if anyone has experince they would be able to tell the differrence.
