Guest guest
We cast at Cincy Children's and LOVE it! The staff there was awesome. I've seen nothing but good stuff on here about Philly though too. If your family is in Columbus, maybe we can get together if you decide to cast in Cincy. Curt Dad to Brayden 16 months old 42 degrees out, 15 degrees in 1st cast. We are new to this group and were hoping to get some feedback on where people are going for Mehta casting. We live just outside of Baltimore and our daughter Ryleigh was diagnosed with PIS earlier this month with a possible tethered spinal cord. She is 9 months old with 26 COBB and 22 RVAD - currently there is no rotation. We have been waiting for a MRI to see if she needs surgery to release a tethered cord before we can start casting. Has anyone had successful casting experiences in or around Baltimore? We have an appt at Shriners in Philly in March but may also consider trying to get her into Cinncinati Childrens Hospital (my parents are less than 2 hours from Cinncinati). Ryleigh's curve is between T11 and T7 so she would most likely need a cast with shoulder straps. Any input on casting experiences at Shriners in Philly or at Cinncinati Childrens would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!Lori
