Guest guest
Hi All I don't think I've ever posted on this site, but am doing so today because I want to make sure that parents in the UK know that in early January, Kirkmans issued a recall of some of their products because they are contaminated with antimony. The products were manufactured throughout last year and include zinc and Super Nu Thera. Full details of the recall are on the Kirkman Labs website. It went out on 7th January but as far as I can tell, there has been no attempt made whatsoever to publicise it in the UK. This situation is obviously completely shocking. I have always bought my Kirkmans products from Nutricentre, and Kirkman maintain that they instructed Nutricentre in January to contact every customer to warn them. I certainly received no communcation. I have been in touch with Kirkmans throughout this past week and they are 'looking into' why Nutricentre did not act, but in the meantime, knowing that there are probably still parents out there in Britain giving their children the bad product, please publicise this product recall and check the lot numbers on any Kirkman products you may have against the lot numbers published on the Kirkman labs website. If anyone else feels as irate about this as I do, please feel free to contact me.
