Joy was in a series of 3 casts and started wearing a brace in January of this year. She started at a 39 degree curve and also had a curve up in her neck but they never would say the degree of that one. Anyway, back in March they did an x-ray in brace and she was at 16 degrees. Today they did an out of brace x-ray and she was at 32 degrees. I was a little disappointed that after 3 casts and now brace that we are only down 7 degrees. Our doctor said she would keep Joy in a brace unless it started to increase but we won't go back for 6 months. I would appreciate any thoughts or advice about this. Is this normal results or should I be concerned? Oh, the good news is her neck curve has corrected itself.
