Guest guest
All Right Dawn! Congratulations! C. -----Original Message----- From: Plagiocephalyegroups Sent: Tuesday, April 04, 2000 8:58 AM Plagiocephalyonelist Subject: We're getting covered!!!!! Without any additional info requested or an appeal, we are getting covered for the band!!!! We are the first at our clinic to get any coverage! I was prepared to appeal and fight like a dog with the insurance company, not necessary!! What a relief!! We also, finally, have Cole's pressure spots on the mend. We took him on vacation to S.C. last week and had a few people stop dead in their tracks at the airport to stare, but we don't even care anymore. Funny how once Mommy and Daddy get used to looking at it, you don't care about other people looking anymore. (The band was nice extra protection on the airplane when he started getting squirmy and throwing himself against the window and seats! ) Dawn ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ GET A NEXTCARD VISA, in 30 seconds! Guest guest
I have Benefits Assistance, Beechtree Corp. So far, I'm pretty happy with them. We're just at the start of our insurance fighting process (and it always seems to be a fight, no matter what it is!) What insurance companies is everyone using? Are any better than others? From this group I've gotten some hints on how to convince them of the necessity, but some " comparision shopping " wouldn't hurt :-) We're currently with Aetna, and seem to always have problems with them. Has anyone else successfully gotten covered for either a helmet or band through Aetna? Thanks in advance for any info. Guest guest
I'm in Canada, so most of our medical things are covered, but we do still have to pay for prescriptions, dental and such. I once had Aetna covering these such things thru a benefit package at work and they were a BIG PAIN IN THE @#*!!!!! over even these little issues!! My employer quickly changed to Green Shield after a year of hassle. Just my experience. Kendra Skelly wrote: Congratulations! Guest guest
Hooray!! Good for you!! Kendra Skelly wrote: Indeed.... I'm in the same position - it's a benefit package through work and we've never had anything go smoothly. That said, however, we were on the phone to them today and they are sounding like they will provide some kind of coverage - all we need to do now is get it some time this year...
