Levi's 2nd cast update

Last Thursday Levi got his 2nd cast applied @ SLC. It was so nice to give him a

big cast free hug the day before! Everything went so well & really very

smoothly. He didn't get upset at all the day of casting, however the cast

removal was tough. He was really scared to the point of shaking &

screaming...maybe next time we will try tin snips at home. He adjusted so well

to the new cast the second we put him down he took off running & it took only

minutes for him to figure out how to get up. The docs & us were happy with the

results even though we didn't get any further correction from cast 1 & it really

was what they expected to happen. So for now we are holding steady at 16/17*

w/no rotation. They said maybe with the next cast they would change molding

styles a bit & go with a more Risser style instead of the EDF Mehta Levi is

currently in.
