Hi ...

Did you get any of my mail?

If you get this, let me know.... OH!

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT!!

The Transplant commitee is meeting today to discuss my situation, for the second time.

I had about 10 more things to do before being re- presented to them. My co-ordinatotr says all looks OK. Once I get on the list, I can find out my MELD score.

Thats kind of a double edged sword, isn't it? On one hand, your healthier if you have a low MELD, and wait longer, yet still feel not so good sometimes...and the other hand, a high score bumps others down and puts you higher up in the 'urgency pool".

She said she will call me tomorrow and let me know if I should buy or rent.. LOL!!!

Thank ya'll for being around and God Bless.

Hi Di!! I don'y know when you were here, but it is amazazing how much it changes. I used to live in Montrose, 70's/80's... and I am near Sharpstown...which us not looking so good lately, run down.. You will be put at ease to know all those guys working on the Gulf Freeway are still empolyed and working just the same as they have for the last 30 years. I believe the new or replacement jobs go to the first male born of each family that has been working on it haha!! Rodeo is coming up and I'm gonna' take Bayla to it. She'll Freak. Maybe go over to Austin, Hippie Hollow, sixth street, turn her on to Blue Bell Ice Cream at the Creamery. Maybe swing over to San , see tha Alamo, maybe visit PAT. I' looking forward to it!. Thanks for the post!! Del I think she thinks we are all Cowboys, or atleast dress like 'em, wearing sheepskin chapd and ten gallon hats.. Di Marshall and Tom Gray <graymarshall@...> wrote: Hey Del! I lived in Porter as recently as September of this year (rode out Rita in a 33' motorhome, thankfully no damage). I lived in Montrose in the early 70's (Family Connection, Inlet, Of Our Own, Hippie Hill, the Family Hand, 's Landing, the Cellar Door, Charlie Brown's on Alabama, Prince's at Montrose and Westheimer ... bringing back memories?)

Did they ever get around to putting in a drainage system for Sharpstown? Old man Sharp just "forgot", he was too busy taking the bank to the cleaners.

I seem to remember them starting construction on the Gulf Freeway when I was 6 or 7 which would have made it 1959 or '60, a lot longer than 30 years. I remeber when they started building 610 and I remember when they stated building Beltway 8; both of those are finished [at least I heard a rumor that they finished Sam Houston], but construction on 45 just goes on and on and on.

When I was in school I always looked forward to the rodeo parade as it was usually on my birthday (February 19th) and it was a school holiday, but back then they called it the "Fatstock Show Parade" and I took a LOT of teasing about that.

I keep hoping the "contented cows" will start producing enough for Blue Bell to be exported. There's nothing like it in the world! I really miss the Natural Vanilla Bean and Milk Chocolate. If you're taking Bayla through Brenham be sure and stop to see the miniature horses at that monastary - it's on 105 (I think) between Navasota and Brenham. That is a really beatiful area.

Man...your makin' me laugh and I'll probably be shortest member in history to kicked off for writing so much. I'm gonna' try to make this brief. If you remember, (Yucatan Liquor Stand), had the "niches" cut in the actual bar itself, for young ladies (customers) to get up and dance for the ALWAYS PACKED HOUSE. Well, 'ol Deliman got a little too drunk and jumped up on one of those 'dance platforms' on the bar, and the sea of people started screaming, saying "take it OFF"! To be brief, the shirt came off, I was swinging it around my head and threw it into the crowd. I started undoing my belt buckle, (no intentions of taking my pants off) and teasing with my belt, when a bartender came up from behind me ( he was lower than I, behind the bar), and it was loud! He screamed "GET DOWN"! So I really started gyrating and then threw my belt in to the crowd... He started squirting me with the water hose

and screamed even louder...GET DOWN. I thought he was smiling and this was like a wet t shirt thing for guys or something ( I was real drunk)...so, again I started dancing even more. Bouncers came and removed me from the bar, and someone took me home. They gave me my clothes back. I woke in the morning remembering what I'd done, and felt SOOOO embarrassed!! I went into the kitchen (in my underwear), to get water, still shaking my head and feeling so stupid. Something in my underwear making me itch on the sides... I figured I got scratched onthe way out. I felt around and had $11.00 in my underwear!! So I said.. well...I guess I must not have been that bad!! lol I don't know who Parmley Electric is, fill me in. Deliman sme time if we ever meet I'll tell you about my escapades with Parmley (Parmley Electric). I'm also a certified "Swine Buyer" at the rodeo LOL.
