Guest guest
Many children with underlying syndromes do regress immediately... That's why the pioneer states in her article that for these children, it takes longer(slender phenotypes). It takes longer for the tissues/muscles/spine to respond and relearn how to grow in that more correct position. Less of a cast break is best for slender phenotypes. Please keep us posted and hang tough momma! HRH Cast 4 is sporting an orange cast for Halloween. Looks so cute. The drs were able to take him back down to 45*. What is frustrating for us and our medical team is that when the casts come off his curve always goes back to 90*. They are thinking that they may extend the amount of time in his casts and try to shorten the time out of cast. Right now he gets the cast removed on the Friday and is casted on the Wednesday. Next time I'm going to have it removed the Monday giving him only a day and a bit out of cast. Maybe that will help.
