At 11:45 a petition will be presented to the GMC's Chief Exec & Head of Fitness to Practise, , from thousands of parents and doctors around the world in support of Drs Wakefield, - and Simon Murch whose fitness to practice hearing concludes on 24 May. No patient has made a complaint against these top flight specialists, not one single patient was ever harmed by them.

The prosecution is calling for Drs Wakefield and - to be struck from the medical register and for Dr Murch to be suspended based on one journalist's erroneous charges. A travesty for parents of autistic children with chronic bowel disorders.

Q).Why are the GMC determined to silence these doctors and ensure they never practice or research causes again? A). Because they published papers that the GMC claim encouraged public criticism of vaccine policy, then they denied it was about the MMR. Confused? You're meant to be.

THE GMC IS NOW ON TRIAL

Now the GMC is on trial after mounting criticism of the way the GMC has conducted a series of witchhunts; of Drs Wakefield, - and Murch and other doctors who question vaccine safety, such as Dr Jayne Donegan in 2008 and Dr Myhill currently.

Vaccine safety is now a major public health issue. It is not just parents alleging the MMR and other vaccines damaged their children. Gulf War veterans also question the unsafe vaccines they were forced to have.

Yet there has never been a public debate in Parliament on vaccine safety. Governments have always cow-towed to the advice of the medical establishment that vaccines are safe. The recently deposed Labour government ceded responsibility for vaccine policy to the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (originally an advisory body of drug-makers and doctors).

But by its unjust actions against these doctors, the GMC:

· is denying treatment to seriously ill children

· is betraying doctors

· is failing in its mission to protect patients
