Guest guest
Hind sight is always 20/20. I would do it differently if I had it to do over. I think I copied my mother in a way and had tremendous guilt for years over leaving their father and “made up” for it by indulging them. Plus, the time between divorce & death was such a challenge and roller coaster with their dad, I was too exhausted to do better with Cale. I have a lot of regrets now, but I know I did the best I could with what I had to work with. I’m just glad Beth is turning out so well and I have hopes that Cale will get his sh.. together sometime in the next 10 years! De Hi Ya WWD ........ and you wonder why we call you Wonder Woman De !!!!!!!!!!!! Honey to be honest with you I would have not taken that much abuse from my kids at any age and they knew it very young. They knew, if they did it, they were responsible for their actions and would pay the price without me bailing them out. Whoever bailed them out they could go live with them. Ohhhhhh we hard some rough times but both my kids thanked me for tough love when they became adults and realized it more when they had kids of their own. Poor Mel she has a stubborn hard head like me and always needed to get that last word in. Hang In There and All The Best. Love and Hugs.
