Guest guest
Honey, You and I have known each other online for quite a few years. We have been the old broads in groups. I respect you, your honesty and your decisions. We just want the best for you and for you to make the best decisions for you. It's hard on this end not knowing how high your ammonia levels go, how clearly you really are thinking and not being able to talk face to face with you to know the answers. It's even harder when a dear friend says - I don't care I will eat and do what I want to - when I know it just hurting them more. None of us are perfect. I sure as hell don't follow all the rules but I try to break the ones that add to my quality of life not take away from it. You know by eating the wrong things your sugars and ammonia levels will continue to go up and with more and more complications and a much faster progression. I hope and pray you are ready to handle the outcome especially living alone. You already figured out the not driving part but what happens later on. Does Canada offer mail meds to you, any home health care, van transportation to Dr appt's and do you have someone that can come in and help you later on done the road ??? This is a learning experience for us all. Please share with us. Love and Hugs. Deb
