Guest guest
Hi, every now and again I manage to get some Nystatin from my doctor for my son. He recently finished a course (1 week) and he started doing a lot more stimming which wasn't really a problem before. He's hand flapping, tip toe walking and biting himself and lots of echolia too. I can't say 100% that it was the coming off the Nystatin that caused it but whilst he was taking it his mood really improved. So this is my question. Should I ask my doctor for Nystatin long term (we've discussed this before and he's not even sure he needs it) or is there an alternative treatment that I can get without prescrition? Thank you.
