Vits A & D - Vitamin A blocks Vit D's effect??

Does anyone know what the approximate ratio of Vitamin A to D should be? Do you all supplement both?

This has probably been discussed in the past and I may have missed it, so apologies for this. I've just been reading on Dr Mercola and what caught my attention was that Vit A blocks Vit D's effect. This has got me thinking and needing to perhaps review how we supplement A & D here.
