Yay! You will love the Greenville staff!! Have you contacted your local Shriners, they may help with travel expenses. If you are going by yourself then I would say go with a taxi since you can stay at the hospital(only one person can stay). We stay in the Days Inn on Roper Rd. Its clean,cheap and very close to anyhing you may need. We received the anticipated call today from Greenville Shriners that Layla's (pre-op) appt with Dr.P will be on June 28th and she's set for casting with him on the 29th. Yay!!!All I know is I have to book a flight (because there is NO WAY I'm driving 8+ hours with a toddler!), then what? Anyone have any tips on making this trip easier for both Layla and I? What to expect? Car rental or taxi? I'm open to ideas and suggestions...actually, I'm begging for them! :)Thanks!~

Hi ,

We are from FL also and have been traveling to SC for 3+ years now. We are

currently in a brace and have been for a year. The staff is great. Depending on

where you are in FL, Allegiant Airlines flies direct from Fort Lauderdale

airport and the flights are cheap. Best of Luck.
