Guest guest
Today was a very long day, and it's not over yet:) His xray shows continued slow progress. We actually were able to see the xray, watch the doc measure his curve, and compare and contrast all images. His numbers are now 28 top curve and 21 bottom curve. If you compare the initial xray (prior to cast) there is a huge visual difference. Whew is that a HUGE sigh of relief! is now 4.4 years old and in his 3rd cast so he's a bit older than many of your children are. Our next cast date it August 8th. I am hoping with all my might to get the lowest number in the teens. So for now.... Good bye stress, we will see you in August! We head to Colorado in a couple days where I intend to hike as much as possible to increase core muscles for and myself:) tame

Guest guest
I will hang on to the bitter end:) I'm happy we are making progress. Doc R knows we aren't hip on bracing. He believes casting is helping. I was thrilled with the lower curve being 21.... Only cuz it's sooooo close to 19 hahaha. Sometimes I just have to stay focused. We go aug 8 and then October. I'll schedule the oct apt next week. Ben has grown an inch since beginning of march dunno if it's cuz of cast or him or both.... We will hang out in Dallas tomorrow then head to co. How's little man? Glad you are going to continue casting. Its so worth it! Isaiah is good...we go in for xrays/office visit july 27th. So far he's been holding @ 15* cast/brace free! Its a miracle really. We have his official IEP on july 7th...I will be emailing you w/tons of questions. Way to grow Ben!!
