Guest guest
2 things that worked for us. 1) a pull up tucked under the cast worked well. We never added extra pads or anything. 2) Switching to cloth diapers made everything SO much easier! No leaks, no poop up the back! Once we switched we never went back and have even cloth diapered our 2nd. Feel free to email me with any questions. Guest guest
With my daughter Avery, I used only her diaper and used the same size that she was in before the cast. I have twins and didnt want 2 different sized diaper, afraid it would confuse my husband. I found that I couldnt tuck her diaper under the cast very well, so I fold it inside and tuck it inside the diaper. It sits right under the cast and provides more absorbancy. It has worked for us pretty well. She has never leaked on her cast. Now that she is getting a little bigger and is peeing in larger qtys, it leaks out the bottom, but it does this on my daughter as well and she doesnt have a cast. We use Parents Choice diapers from walmart and they seem to work very well for us, since they are a little thinner. Hope you find something that works for you. I'm reading whatever tips I can find on our site and thought I'd ask all of you in an email since you have figured out what works. Violet has been in her cast about a week and a half now, and we're still trying to figure it all out. Currently we are using a women's incontinence pad tucked under her cast with a diaper over the pad and cast. Any suggestions? > > >> >> >> >> Hello, >> >> >> >> My daughter, Violet, had her first cast put on four days ago and we have >> >> a lot to learn!
