Yay, go Tommy!!! Heidi, Bexon's Mommy, (4 years old, 10 casts from Salt Lake City Shriners, currently down from 63 degrees to 10.9 in first brace. You can read Bexon's Story on www.GirltoMom.com)From: crazerach <crazerach29@...>infantile scoliosis treatment Sent: Tue, August 23, 2011 6:01:24 PMSubject: Tommy is in a brace! :)

We are here in SLC for our first brace! After 3 casts and great progress we are giving Tommy a cast "vacation" for a little while. We are also putting together a game plan for his feet which will involve either serial casting (again) or possibly surgery. So either way, we're cast free at the moment and loving every minute of it :) Tommy was fitted for his brace today (which he is tolerating very well so far, into hour number 3 LOL) and we'll be back in the am for an appt. with Dr. D and also a gait lab. So it's a quick but very productive trip in SLC for us but we couldn't be happier. If it wasn't for finding this group and for all of the info and support we have received here, I would have never found out about this wonderful treatment for our angel. We are beyond grateful for the chance to cast AND possibly even CURE our son's scoliosis with non-invasive treatment and are truly blessed. Tommy will probably be in this brace until at least

Christmas time and that is fine by me :) I hope everyone and their littles are well!

Best wishes to all of you,

, mommy to Tommy Lee (3.5 yo with a 39* curve down from 78* after 3 casts) and Logan who is 10 :)
