Guest guest
I think the idea is to have the shirts invite questions.....the best method for getting new members is the one to one invitation either in person with a shirt or possibly a flyer at a local clinic or support group. I am going to do a flyer also....I have a lot of dragons to mess around with. I think everyone knows of the " Dummies " books for PCs and a lot of other things. We are just starting a PR campaign using a popular word and playing off of that. I did and still have 2nd thoughts about it and people not knowing about HCV getting the wrong impression of HCV, our group and us from it. It does Not refer to us, as members as a bunch of dummies for getting HCV or not knowing, learning and supporting each other. Hepatitis C on-line Support Group for Dummies Don't be a dummy learn about Hep C Ok your opinions and thoughts on this. Would this slogan on a t shirt seen by the general pubic convey the wrong image and message about HCV ????? I included " online " in reference to " Dummies. Guest guest
Hi Dick, Should we ask the publisher about using the "For Dummies" wording? Guest guest
I would hope that we don't have to go there. So long as we don't publish a yellow and black book cover, we should be all right. The wording is probably in the Public Domain by now and I don't think we intend to do any of this for profit. Guest guest
Back in the day when I actually had attorneys on retainer I always looked for one of 2 types. Type 1. Attorney that KEEPS you out of trouble. Type 2. Attorney that GETS you out of trouble. I always chose the latter. Allan with 2 L's boy what I could do with all the money I've spent on attorneys Re: Hi People - Our group name and T shirt slogan I would hope that we don't have to go there.
