Guest guest
Hi Does anyone know what could be causing bad headaches after sport in a 18yr old (otherwise healthy teenager), last night he was sick 6 times throughout the night, he is going to see the doctors today but i have no faith that they will address the real cause. x Not got a Hotmail account? Guest guest
Make sure they investigate whether he had a head injury. Guest guest
Headaches can be linked with dehydration.. Kids today do not drink enough.. especially if they have been in sealed overheated class rooms during the day.. If his body is both acidic and he is dehydrated I think vomiting may occur to remove toxic load in gut... I think it is something linked with too much salt in the stomach.. Can also link with liver... Guest guest
Michele, Could it be dehydration? I know that causes severe migraines in me and my son. It does not have to be summer for my son to dehydrate quickly. The electrolyte imbalance can cause vomiting, and does for me. To the point where I can not stop for hours. See if you can get him to drink coconut water before, during or after the sport. Sharon S.
