Sensible pencil or handwriting without tears

Hello all,

I am posting this for a parent who needs help with handwriting with her son.

His fine motor skills are poor and he is having a lot of trouble writing. She

has seen both the sensible pencil and handwriting without tears in the

different roads to learning catalogue and would like to know if anyone has an

opinion on either or both of them. Any information would be appreciated.
