Hello All!

We just returned from Rochester several hours ago tired, but happy... As many of you know, I was very nervous about this brace check. It was this time last year that Noelle's numbers worsened and we had to re-cast her again for 4 months before we began bracing again. This time, Noelle's standing x-ray has improved from 14 degrees to 11 degrees in a standing x-ray! Whew! WHAT A RELIEF!!!! Of course, I still crave those single digits. I am still hoping and praying that she will still get below 10 degrees and we are almost there! This time her brace mold was done in office without anesthesia and it was amazing! So quick, simple and professional! And her new in-brace x-ray looks absolutely AWESOME!!!! She chose the design called "tornado", but we call it swirly-whirly and she is immensely proud of it and shows it to everyone! I think the design is so appropriate fo my

little dynamo who takes on life by storm! We also took a little day trip to see the NY side of the Niagara, which is just beautiful and something we couldn't do when she was casted. This little trip was such a reminder of how long we've come.... So symbolic for us in so many ways. So now we will return to Rochester in December and we must remove her brace every day for an hour, and for swimming and bath time of course. Next time she will be given her first pulmonary function test as well and I am hoping that will go well too. Thanks for letting me share! - Noelle's mommy, 4 years oldRochester NYCasted 8 times for 1 1/2 years9 months in braceRegressed and went into cast 9Back in brace at 8 degrees supine, 13 standing! reflux, mild plagiocephaly, mild torticollos, hypotonia, ligament laxity, suspected Ehler's Danlos III

What a great update, Steph! 14 to 11!!! Excellent! When you get time,

please consider sharing Noelle's journey on site.

Thanks for sharing that with all of us. Way to grow, Noelle!
