Guest guest
The test comes with directions. It is easy. However someone recently posted that you really need glass shavings to have an accurate read. They suggested you scrape an edge to get some glass powder to test. I just rubbed it on the glass. But to be more careful if you test the glass powder you will get more of a mix they talked about how glass was made and it made sense. So, hope that helps. I bought one last year about this time and have used it all year and have enjoyed the convenience of the spout... I've been on this list reading as much as possible (sometimes I get behind and it's just easier to delete than catch up) but up until just recently I didn't see anything that talked about testing my glass for lead so I never tested it. Guest guest
Don, I hoe you don't mind me razzing you a bit. We do beat many topics to death here. When you get so many new members there is a repeating of information. I used to read every post, and gobble it all up. However now I am seeing repeating info. It is all good. Sometimes it reminds me and sometimes I just breeze over it. Anyway I just wanted to make sure you were ok with my funny. Thank you for contributing your comments to the group. They have been helpful to me. Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile Re: Re: Walmart Sun Tea jar... Okay, how does one check for lead in a jar, inquiring minds want to know?
