Guest guest
Whew! What a day! I went on the Art Walk though Mt. Tabor with my mom where artists in the very nice Mt. Tabor neighborhood open their houses and studios so you can walk through and buy if you want. It was a glorious fragrant spring day and I took some photos, I'll put in an album later. After that I crashed, got up at 4:30 because Tressia was coming over, and we first did the Quick Fix Stability Ball workout with Keli . Two thumbs up! It's 30 minutes long and is divided into three segments, lower body, upper body, and abs. In the lower body section I had a very hard time balancing on one foot while the other was on the ball, just rolling it back and forth and doing one legged squats on the hind leg. I did NOT have the balance to do it and kept laughing! The upper body section used weights, and the abs were the usual stuff on the ball but also included pikes. Yes! We followed this with Ivanhoe's Yoga on the Ball. It says it's for beginners but it really isn't in that you hold poses for quite awhile and the ball challenges your abs in so many ways. Some poses such as Warrior 2 and Warrior 3 were easier with the ball, but because you went deeper into the pose than you normally would, different teeny muscles were challenged. is lovely and pleasant throughout and mirrors her cueing (as did Keli). Shavasana was bliss with your legs resting on the ball, but this was NOT held for very long and really this is my only critique. I reviewed this one once before but the Quick Fix workout was from the virgin pile. Am tired, off to bed as I teach Turbo Kick round 18 tomorrow morning!zzzzz, laura
