Hello everyone! I haven't been on here to post in so long. I am keeping up on

your posts though and I try to chime in when I have helpful information :) Tommy

Lee is doing great in cast #2 at about 35*..we go back to SLC in June 20th for

#3. Cast life had been really easy to adjust to and diapering has gotten much

easier. We use nighttime diapers since they have higher absorption areas and

this helps keep any leaking down. We also tuck the diaper up into the cast so

that everything gets caught into diaper :) we've only had a handfull of

accidents during these 2 casts but nothing we couldn't clean up. I hope everyone

else is doing well and having a nice spring.

I also have some questions regarding tethered spinal cords. Are there any

families whos child has had a tethered cord? And if so did you operate? My niece

was just diagnosed and my sister Is having a hard time dealing withte upcoming

surgery. If anyone has any information or pre/post op stories I would greatly

appreciate your insight. Thank you :)

, mommy to Tommy Lee, 3, in cast #2 @ 35*, and mom to Logan who is 10 :)

Congrats on adjusting to cast life. Please recommend to your sis that she join CAST, as she will find that she is not alone in all of this.
