Guest guest
Hi , Fantastic news on the correction out of cast!!! Awesome!! Seems like she just had her first cast not long ago. Some connective tissue disorders are associated with eye conditions such as dislocated lenses which is probably why he wants her checked out. Glad to hear that the surgery went well and that she is recovering nicely. Noelle (12-2-01) Ian (8-15-04) back from erie Hello Everyone, I just wanted to give an update on Rylie. We just got back from Erie on thursday. Rylie was put into her 4th cast. She looks great. Her curve is down to 12 degrees out of cast. She was at 17 degrees last time. Dr. said he feels strongly that she will be put into a brace next time! We are thrilled, however I do realize there is a chance she could be casted again. I was wondering if anyone else had a child that had a strabisimus also. Rylie had eye surgery on aug. 6th, they diagnosed her with left Fourth nerve palsy. The surgery was succesful and she does not seem to have the " wondering eye " anymore. Dr. thinks we should have genetice testing done to see if there is any connection with everything? --------------------------------- Moody friends. Drama queens. Your life? Guest guest
I'm glad to hear things are going well for you and your family. I'm trying not to get to excited, because I know there is a chance of going into another cast, but we have come this far so whatever it takes!! I didn't want to go on Halloween either, but my husband didn't want to change the date, so I think we are going to have a pre Halloween party for Rylie with my niece's and nephews. We have already had to pry out Ry's cast, it was really tight around her tummy & chest, but all is well now. llucy007@... wrote: Hi this is adria genevas mom. How are you and your family?
