Guest guest Posted February 10, 2008 Report Share Posted February 10, 2008 I took a SCOBY to a friend last night; actually took it to a historical re-enactors ball, along with some finished KT to offer tastes. Another friend was there and advising folks to give her a wide berth because she was suffering from a nasty head cold. I gave her a nice shot of KT in her glass, to try. She came looking for more, and soon she was on the dance floor and feeling much better. " That stuff is great! " she said, and now she's in line for her own SCOBY. " Lucky friends! I can verify that Patty T has a wonderful culture! My scoby is named " Patty T " . I tried a home-grown " Dave " (from the health food store) but he's going into the compost heap today. I'm gonna stick with " Patty T " . If there's anybody in Northeast Texas, I'd be happy to share.
