Guest guest
Hi Niall I think that the best benefits of HBOT can only happen when the body can breath more efficiently on its own.. and this is why we have had big gains with our daughter Tatijana. We have been on our journey for 16 years and our daughter had a very immature and podgy body tone with hyperflexible hands. Her body tone changed completely within the first three months. Because the exercise provide the messaging to the body to catch up on the things our children have missed out on in their development, it produces a very good and strong stuctural foundation onto which the muscles can develop.. 's own son looks like he works out in the gym.. and simply by breathing properly, his body is getting a good work our every day.. simply as he breathes A lot of families bring their child over for the assessment and then they return on their own to learn the techniques- and in this way the massages can be taught in as little as 2.5 days... We have not found anything that compares with the results we have had from Scotson Technique...TST Best wishes Tracey On Tue, Feb 9, 2010 at 10:33 PM, <nialljmtmurphy@...> wrote: Hi AllI wanted to ask if people have experience of Scotson and Autism. My 16 year old has a slight stoop - poor muscle tone etc from reading up on Scotson it helps to detox I am wondering if other methods are as effective I am hoping to do HBOT with him in the near future it is just that I would need to travel to england for 4 days which is a big burden right now.Any guidance would be much appreciated thanks in advanceNiall
Guest guest
Tracey, I have been doinglindas therapy for a couple of weeks somettimes not perfectly but have been persisting with them twice a day. Only two or three days back the school wrote in his diary that he had strong smelling urine and we have noticed this at home in the last day or two. Do yo think it could be linked to the tst as he is only taking p5p capsule and his kepra which are not new to him? tahiraFrom: Tracey Clewer <thelifechangers@...>Autism Treatment Sent: Tue, 9 February, 2010 22:48:25Subject: Re: Autism and Scotson Hi Niall I think that the best benefits of HBOT can only happen when the body can breath more efficiently on its own.. and this is why we have had big gains with our daughter Tatijana. Guest guest
HI Tahira I think it may be a very positive thing.. his body is detoxing. A lot of toxins get stored in the cells when their is not enough oxygenation to get rid of them.. I believe that this is quite normal.. and it will disappear again once he had got rid of the major backlog of toxins. Is he drinking a lot of water? He needs to be drinking water little and often during the day, this will help the detoxification and as he would then wee more, his urine might not smell quite so strong. IF you are concerned at all, ring ,,, I think this sort of reaction is quite normal.. and shows how well he is already responding to the treatment. and I think that even if the way we massage our children is not totally perfect, they still show gains and improve.. it is more about doing something on a regular basis. Best wishes and so pleased to hear what brilliant progress you are already making.. even after such a short period of time. Guest guest
i was wondering if it could be linked with him having ammonia in th urine as there was discussion about this by the group, there isnt any point to get his urine checked? i also was wanting to know if i had him home at 1.30pm then if there were any ideas for a good computer based literacy/ numeracy program that i could start him on as he is computer mad. From: Tracey Clewer <thelifechangers@...>Autism Treatment Sent: Wed, 10 February, 2010 12:02:42Subject: Re: Autism and Scotson HI Tahira I think it may be a very positive thing.. his body is detoxing. Guest guest
I'm afraid Wordshark and Numbershark are price. On the other hand they will last your child through it's primary years. Wordshark, if suitable, takes the child to a high level of reading and spelling. Numbershark also will be useful up to Year 6 Sally tahira sufi wrote: > > > thanks i will check them on the net, but hope they are not too > pricey. tahira > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > *From:* Sally Eva <bobsallyeva@...> > *To:* Autism Treatment > *Sent:* Wed, 10 February, 2010 12:31:56 > *Subject:* Re: Autism and Scotson > > > > Wordshark and Numbershark by White Space. Guest guest
No we used to run them on a very old laptop with internal mouse. Doesn't need a touch screen. Reader Rabbit Thinking ditto. That is some quite attractive maths sort of puzzles. It says 4-6 but they must be very clever 6 year olds -- it's pattern making, sorting etc and quite nice. Not brash edutainment etc. Numbershark and Wordshark are for schools and quite focussed and quiet Sally Marina Vrahimi wrote: > > > Sally - do you need any thing special to run Wordshark & Numbershark - > just got a normal laptop??? Guest guest
You can get clip on touch screens for about £100, maybe a lot less now or on ebay. I bought one initially in the days before my son could use a mouse. On 11 Feb 2010, at 14:46, Sally Eva wrote:No we used to run them on a very old laptop with internal mouse. Doesn't need a touch screen. Reader Rabbit Thinking ditto. That is some quite attractive maths sort of puzzles. It says 4-6 but they must be very clever 6 year olds -- it's pattern making, sorting etc and quite nice. Not brash edutainment etc. Numbershark and Wordshark are for schools and quite focussed and quietSallyMarina Vrahimi wrote:>>> Sally - do you need any thing special to run Wordshark & Numbershark - > just got a normal laptop???
