That is the thing that turns me off about disneyland the long lines. I hope you can share or tell me what to do. We have just returned from a family vacation in Disney World and I just wanted to let everyone know how amazingly accommodating Disney was for our son, so hopefully you can similarly enjoy the same experience. It was an extremely wet week in Florida this past week and we were getting soaked waiting on lines. was growing restless and became extremely uncomfortable waiting in the stroller so we went to "Town Hall" in the Magic Kingdom and they gave us a pass that guaranteed us no waiting times for all rides at all of the Disney-related theme parks, no questions asked. It really made a difference as was able to enjoy the experience as much as possible and we couldn't have been more pleased with all of the service that we received. I had always known that Disney was known for their customer service, but the service we received here was really above our expectations. I encourage each of you to use this service if you do make it

down to Disney.

I've also held off on the infamous trip to Disney for fear there wouldn't be much Grace could do as the majority of rides that I'm aware of give the "you should not ride if..." warnings. I would be devastated if something caused an injury to Grace. Were there really that many rides for kids that you could do with a back problem? I just don't want her disappointed. It's a special assistance pass. Disney is great working with kids. We get that pass every time we go because of my oldest. Depending on your disability, they mark it appropriately. For example, my oldest has a deafness so he gets front row seating for rides and shows. He also utilizes a wheelchair (when in the heat) so they mark off to use an alternate entrance. He is also autistic so they mark off no waiting. He also has epilepsy so they will hold his medication in the refrigerator and have every cast member on alert.

Disney is GREAT. I can't say enough great things about them. Even the last time we went, Shane was sick and they gave me a sticker so that my stroller could be considered a wheelchair so that I wouldn't have to take him out when we went to see shows.

There is plenty to do for your children, depending upon age, of course. My son

is still only two years old so he was very happy riding " it's a small world, "

pan, Dumbo, etc. which are all slow rides that your children should be

comfortable with. As to getting the pass, you just go to the town hall and tell

them about your child' condition. They should give you a pass that you put on

the stroller that essentially considers the stroller to be a wheelchair and then

you will receive a paper pass giving you instant fast pass access for the extent

of your stay. Feel free to reach out with any other questions, it really was a

fantastic time.

Just fyi - I live in Florida and we frequent the local theme parks. When Dylan was in his cast, we were also able to get a pass at Universal, Islands of Adventure, etc. I think most of the theme parks are pretty accommodating and don't ask many questions....you just have to ask.

Totally! And pssst- you can go up the wheelchair side ramp at Town Hall if your kiddo in is a stroller to make the wait faster.

Hi,I am curious do we have to show something for us to avail of that pass? I know that you have to get in line too to get a pass for every rides. So what did you do? I s it because of being in cast? That is the thing that turns me off about disneyland the long lines. I hope you can share or tell me what to do. Thank youEthelynFrom: D <difleishman@...>Subject: Amazing Disney AccommodationsTo:

We are going in November to Disney World...from what I read on the website the

special pass doesn't let you skip the lines just let you into the wheelchair

access area? Can one of you who has done this explain what's the best way to go

about this? Also, were there any ride restrictions because of the cast for the

older crowds? (4+ years)...it shouldn't be too hot (we hope), but we will need

to use the double stroller 'cause Abby gets tired and hot pretty easily..thank

you!
