Thanks Lida. I’ll check out the link.Liv started having trouble w/ an 8th grader (Livs in 7th) a few months ago. This girl said that Liv had an attitude and that if she didn’t change it, she would give Liv a smackdown. Liv’e response (“why do you care about my attitude, you’re not my mother!”) aggravated the situation ~and~ she refuses to back down. Obviously, not backing down to an elder classmate could be troublesome, but Liv still refuses to back down….And, I don’t blame her. If she starts backing down now, it could become a pattern and would yield even more bullies. Im glad Liv has common sense enough to know that. And, that she confidence in herself to handle it on her own. It sure will be nice next year when Liv will be in the 8th grade and at the top of her class academically & socially. It was started by the late Tim Field in the UK after his devasting experience of being bullied at work for a long time, but we have loads of USA and Canadian members too. Just got a call from the Dean at her school and about had aheart attack because of the bullying stuff that she's been dealing with. They calledto inform me that she tested out above average in all classes, but thatshe tested super high in Reading. So, she will begin highschool readingclasses next week!
