Hey all, it's great to talk the talk, you don'thave to walk the walk 'till you made that decsision.

It's very easy to monday morning quarterback with a footballgame.

I've had to do it with peoples lives and I know I'm going to hell.

Hey there Gal!!

I just had to say that I couldn't agree with you more. I am able to watch quite a bit of tv, as you know I am taking care of Mom. And even though I turn on the television with intentions of watching some sort of movie, I always end up on CNN or CSNBC - and end up in tears and praying profusely.

However - I feel that we as a Country don't seem to have our priorities straight.

I went on to a web sight last night - Katrina.com, and there was several people from Spain that were putting Our Country down for getting so worked up about Katrina - when there are so many other 3rd world countries that have so much fammin and how 30,000 children die a day. They were all saying how rich of a country we are and that instead of bombing iraq - we should be helping other Countries.... ect.. ect...

I couldn't continue to read without saying something.

And I guess my whole point is that we are all so busy pointing the blame - all that energy and time, could be spent helping those in need. We are not only fighting with other Countries - now were fighting in our own.

I have to wonder how many of us really believe in God and Jesus, the bible? How many people realize that all of these natural disasters were perdicted, even fighting amongst each other.

Our first priority should be to help one another in need - there is no color!

And I guess I will stop there before I say too much....

I pray for God to bless and be with us all... and especially all of those in need...

Love, hugs, and prayers....

What De said - the people sick & dying need the money more - did you see that on tv about the nursing home where more than 30 people DIED cause no one evacuated them! People in wheelchairs or walkers who couldn't swim drowned in their rooms. There were over sixty patients in the place that no one thought to evacuate - I hope their next of kin sues the responsible governments butts off! There are probably hundreds of similar stories, this one got publicity cause of the age & physical condition of the victims.

We are not talking about a war zone Danny. These people were innocent senior citizens that couldn't even help themselves. They died of thirst and hunger and in some cases because they didn't have their meds. When I worked in Extened care units I could not leave until my replacement came.I have worked double shifts before they could find someone. They could have locked the doors to stop intruders but sent a couple of people out for help while the rest looked after the people that were helpless to help themselves. It is not quarterbacking. It is training and caring and ethics.
