Guest guest
Hi all I just posted a message about pregnancy, but I have another question; My boy is 1 year and 6 months, and usually takes ages to get over a cold (about 8 weeks). The GP is useless, the naturopath wants me to take him off wheat and milk for a month, but because he drinks a bottle of Kefir a day (no other 'normal' milk), I am hesitant to take that away for a whole month. I personally think that Kombucha really could help him, although in small amounts, build up slowly to maybe an ounce or two and given it quite diluted in his water bottle. Again, I read only words of caution, but would like to know everyones experiences with young children. We avoid all additives in our food, eat organic as much as possible, no lollies etc. but still do groceries at a big supermarket. We live in the city center of a big town in tropical Queensland. Adding cod liver oil daily has helped, his last cold lasted two weeks. Any suggestions would be very helpful.
