Guest guest
hope you are ok on the Crestor. I took it for about 5 weeks before the sciatic pain suddenly hit me From: edgundy <edgundy@...>Subject: I just wanted the old timers here knowLipitor Date: Wednesday, March 24, 2010, 4:15 AM I had a MRA done last week and am now waiting for the results to be told to me from my neurologist. A stenosis was found in the left carotid artery so this may mean that will be getting a stent in the artery. So now I have Carotid Artery Disease as well. I am taking Crestor for about the last 3 weeks and so far (fingers crossed) it seems to be the only statin that I have taken that I do not have any side effects with. But, I am also taking policosanol, Cholest Off, and Niacin with it to help out that much more with my cholesterol. It has always been hovering between 250 and 300 no matter what. I am also filing a claim with the VA Affairs office in town for it seems that when I was in Vietnam 40 years ago I was exposed to Agent Orange under the new presumptive ruling by the VA ... Heart Disease is a symptom of exposure for veterans. Since having the heart attack, bypass surgery, HIGH blood pressure, high cholesterol (no matter what I do) and now the Stoke(s) and even this Carotid Artery Disease I think I will win my claim. More as I hear from the docs.
