And Zach is doing great! He is one tough little guy. He came through

the surgery wonderfully, and is handling it all very well. (Better

then his mommy!!) He is bruised and swollen, but that isn't even

slowing him down. I came home exhausted and fell right to sleep, but

he is still up and going. He has a script for tylenol with codiene,

but wouldn't even take the regular tylenol, and anything since

before surgery, until just recently when I bribed him with drinking

soda in between each chewable. Right now the bruising is really

starting to show, and you can see the port from under the skin. Its

on his left side about 2 inches above his nipple and look like a

quarter under the skin. He also has a dressing that he will keep on

till he goes back on the 1st to get his infusion. Now we have to

just pray that it doesn't get infected and that we can keep it dry.

It was the first surgery that Zach has ever had that he didn't have

a tough time with. I know it wasn't as evasive as the others, but I

still was pretty worried. Thanks so much for the prayers, I really

could feel them today! Love~MG & Zach

So glad to hear it went so well for him. I will continue to keep you in my

thoughts and prayers. I know how it feels to worry about them.

MG,

I am so glad that it went smoothly. Nick has had three central line surgeries

and they weren't as easy for Nick as Zach is making it seem! Way to go Zach!

I hope you are able to get some rest.
