Guest guest
Well Dot, It seems you are doing the best you can. Resting is going to help a lot. Maybe relaxing from some of the stresses at work will turn out to be the best medicine yet. I don't blame you for not wanting to go to the ER. At least it's there when and if you feel you do need it. Take care, and hopefully tomorrow will be a very good day! Appreciate your letting us know the outcome of the call to the doctor. Hugs! Well, My old Dr. was paged and called me back and i told him who i was.. And he said "oh yes, I remember you" not sure how to take that.. Well i explained what happened and he just told me to call my internest that he couldn't do anything for me.. So.. I took some Nyquol last night and went to bed.. Woke up and started to have more pain.. Fell asleep again... Woke up this morning with a 100.2 temp and took some non-asprin now my temp is going down so, i'm just going to lay low and rest today.. I just don't want to go to ER if i can help it... I will go if I start to feel worse as the day goes....If i can't take it anymore.. Well, i'm gonna go rest for now before a flare creeps up on me!! Thanks for your concern!! Take Care, Tricia!! Guest guest
Hi Carmen, This is what I get for relying on my brain for memory before I actually go and check something out...Actually I take Citracal + D. The amount of Calcium per tablet is 630 mgs. D is 400. Most days I do take 3 in the divided doses. Yeah they are sort of large, and some days I just get so tired of swallowing vitamins and other pills that I skip a day maybe once a week where I don't take any vitamins. Can't skip the meds. I've been taking the Citracal for about 2 years, and have had one "bone densitity" test after one year after being on these. The test was *better* than it had been two years previously. So for me...I think this is the way to go. Hey...I thought Dan was sending the snow! Oh..okay, I'll take the blame for this one..but that's it! from Wisconsin Tricia p.s. will send a private e-mail later.... -- Tricia Hi, I was just reading your letter to Jing and noticed that you take Calcium three times a day. I take 600mgs plus D twice a day. I hate those darn, horse pills. Are the 400mgs. a lot smaller? I might consider taking those if they're not as large as the 600 but...........with my Elephant memory.....year, right.....I'd probably forget to take the noon one. Snows on its way tomorrow......Stop it !! xxoo, Carmen

Tricia, Have you tried other fluids such as Gatorade?? When my stomach is upset, water is way to hard on it--I can't keep it down. Also, for next time, you could ask the Doc to write you an RX for suppositories that will keep the vomiting down. You could also call the Doc who is oncall tonight and let them know what is going on.
