Guest guest
When is the Chinese New Year? It just occurred to me that the new year does not at all begin now. It begins in spring (like the Zodiac begins with Aries in March). We only celebrate it now because Julius Caesar changed the calendar around so the Romans could start their spring war campaigns without having them interrupted by any New Year's celebrations. (This is why the 9th month is still called the 7th, the 10th called the 8th etc.) Inger
