Summer in New York.......

Hey Eddie,

I know that you must miss Lake Erie in the summer. I am on Lake Ontario. 875 feet from my front door. It has been hotter the a $2.oo Pistol here also!

When we go to Pittsburgh on Monday I will driving to Buffalo, then going down through PA that way. I think the economy all over is getting pretty bad. Today we saw the price of gas at $2.64 9/10!!! Watertown is a military town with Fort Drum there. Lots of farms and the fact that it is a tourist town in the summer because of the 1000 islands. But for the most part the economy is horrible here too.

Were you origionally from Miss.? Congratulations on getting your own place! Very good to here that you have your daughter with you. Your Mom will still be close by? That is good. I miss my family, as they are over 200 miles from me now. I do go to see them ever month or so.

I live in Pamama City Florida back in the early 80's, so I know how beautiful the gulf is. Breath taking!

I like casinos! I go to one over the border into Canada. We also have one not too far away near Utica. I used to go to CT when I lived in Albany, but haven't made that trip in a long time.

I am glad that you are doing well Eddie. How long were you on treatment? One more question....before, during or after treatment were you tired ALL the time? He seems to sleep so much these past few weeks. But then again it may just be depression. I know if I was told that all this stuff was going on and not knowing what should, could and will be done with my body is pretty depressing.

I'VE NEVER BEEN TO THE 1000 ISLAND PART OF N.Y I BET IT IS BEAUTIFUL I KNOW UPSTATE IS SCENIC[WATKINS GLEN AREA] BUT DUNKIRK IS KINDA RUN DOWN ,IT'S NEXT TO BUFFALO RIGHT ON LAKE ERIE THE COUNTRY SIDE IS PRETTY,LOTS OF GRAPES,LAKES,RIVERS BUT THE ECONOMY IS TERRIBLE.

I ENDED UP IN MISS.BECAUSE MY MOM AND MY DAUGHTER[14] LIVE HERE TOGETHER. THIS WEEK MY DAUGHTER AND MYSELF ARE GETTING OUR OWN PLACE IT'S RIGHT ON THE GULF OF MEXICO.

THIS AREA IS GROWING FAST AS THE CASINOS ARE GOING UP ALL OVER,HARD ROCK IS ALMOST OPEN,THERE'S ALSO THE BEAU RIVAGE[sTEVE WYNN] AND ABOUT 10 OTHERS THEY ARE ALL ON THE WATER AS THE LAW STATES NO CASINOS ON THE WATER.

I HOPE YA KEEP IN TOUCH AND THAT YOUR HUSBAND AND YOU FIND PEACE THROUGH YOUR STRUGGLE!!!

Hey Ali

I'm hopeing that this e-mail finds you well.I know it must be draining for both of you as it is a constant thing with health so if your head isn't right it gets overwhelming.

Ya know Ali there are support groups around where you can talk face to face with others who are going through the same thing as yourself.There seems to be a certain power[relief] in sharing problems,it's kinda like germs in a sterile environment once they get exsposed to air they die. They say through death comes life,kinda like if you stop telling lies, a new life is created through honesty.I'm not in any way saying you're a liar!!!Ijust use it as an example[thousands of other topics apply]

I don't know what is getting in to me today I feel like a know it all!! Believe me I'm not by a long shot,I just hear alot of wisdom from others.

Also yes, I was tired all the time mentally and physically. My treatment lasted 6 months,when I started my viral load was 10 million,now it,s undetectable[for ever I hope!]

My type of hep was 2b which has a 80% chance of treatment working but the thing is that hope can never be lost ,without it what is left?

Thank you so much for the great info. Yes, I know how things can get out of whack if your head isn't in the right mode! I know exactly what you are talking about with your reference on telling lies, then being honest. I know that you were not implying that I am a liar. I know what you are saying!

Yes there are times when everyone thinks they know it all! But from communication there comes understanding, then comes knowledge, then comes wisdom. That is why I read all these messages from other people who have gone through this. I want to know, I want to feel, I want to offer help, compassion and friendship if I can.

I am very glad to hear that your viral load is undetectable at this time and I do hope it stays that way!!!! FOREVER!
