Guest guest
For a long time I have been asking myself what it would take to bring an end to the statin era. Obviously, the high injury rate from these drugs is causing a wake up call to those who have been harmed, but it fails to stop the statin sales machine, and the public continues to suffer. I beleive that education is the answer. 1)If the public were to understand the truth about cholesterol and all its positive roles, and lack of evidence in causing heart disease. 2)If the public were to understand the Real risk reduction of a bad event is only about 1% or less with statins. 3) If the public were able to understand the real side effect risks associated with statins, and how debilitating they are. If those three things are met, then and only then would the market crumble. The demand would be gone. The statin era would become history.
