Family links interesting there, in my family myself, and two cousins were all diagnosed with some range of Hypogammaglobulinanemia as infants. I was the only one who needed treatment, IMIG for 5 years than they just stopped them. The only child in our family now who has a known PID is my 9 year old daughter, her other cousins are all healthy as can be. started with Hypogamm.... than went into Selective IgA def, very sick with that one and now has CVID and on IVIG every 2 weeks. the kicker is now I am being tested again for CVID( numbers are looking bad for me) I just had my post titers redrawn today so we should know something in a week or so. Crazy stuff. still naps frequently, gets tired easily although it is getting better with the treatments, and as usual I am always waiting for the next infection, which is not coming yet, Hooray, 9 weeks without an infection!!! mom to victoria- CVID, asthma, GERD, ( animal whisperer, horse lover, Pokemon fanatic and all around great kid)
