Guest guest
What a cutie!!! Mack Daddy? Oh well, they can't all be SpYke. What is he? Chocolate point? He looks too pale to be seal point but you can never tell when they're real young - how old is he? They love paper bags. My mother bought Spyke a tunnel thingy made of two pieces of cloth with some stuff sandwiched in the middle that sounded like paper crackling every time you touched it. SpYke didn't like it so I gave it away - wish I'd saved it now I could have given it to you. You could probably find it in a pet store but paper bags are cheaper. Watch out though, Siamese are notorious climbers, they're very hard on drapes & furniture. My garden has finally started to produce something besides work. Last week rasberries, got some frozen, offered more to the neighbours. This week corn & tomatos - there is nothing in this world that tastes as good as veggies from your own garden - the corn is incrediblely sweet & tender, the tomatos have so much flavour that they make you hate the idea of those tasteless soggy things the supermarkets call tomatos. This year I'll bring one of my tomato plants inside for the winter. They will keep on growing & producing fruit year round if you take care of them. Guest guest
SuZie not really sure about the different type there are so bear with me.. Mack is very pale and at this moment his points are grey!! I don't think he will be as dark as my 's Cat Mickey..He is I think about 4 to 5 months old already.. Ann couldn't keep him, even though he is a Siamese.. So She thought of Reese and how much he misses his Bigfoote.. Here's a picture of Jonecia holding him.. Cute huh!! I think in this picture you can see the grey more.. Maurice took these pictures.. I think he as a touch with the camera eh!!! Mack is not afraid of Coco either.. Just gently hisses as she passes though..Coco would like to be friends, but is waiting for Mack to get used to her..This might work out..Soo if you got any links for Reese to check out let me know ok...My little side garden is doing ok...Bell peppers and eggplant are doing great..The yellow low acid tomatoes are turning black on the bottoms.. Bruce is so disappointed in that..Didn't get my herbs in like last year..Next year I am going to be quite a bit more hands on..Have to thin my Asian lilies this year.. They didn't do as well as in years past..Oh before I forget Mack Daddy is not necessarily a pimp, could be maybe.. It is a guy who is a major lady's man..A very smoooth operator..Bruce started his diabetes management classes yesterday..He is pre diabetic.. They don't say borderline any more..Kathy B.. -- Re: Hello from Milwaukee.. What a cutie!!! Mack Daddy? Oh well, they can't all be SpYke. What is he? Chocolate point? Guest guest
Hey Boo, Sounds like you've got a Siamese out cross - mostly Siamese but some tabby in there somewhere - we used to call them a Sinu-tab(Siamese & Tabby) All Siamese are white at birth & as they get older they get darker. The "Cat Fancy" does not accept colours other that Seal, Chocolate, Blue or Lilac but there others who do. They call cats like Mack "Colour Point" Tell Reese to google Siamese cats, there's a lot of info there about all kinds of cats. specially at catsarena & cfainc.org but he can get there with Google. Your tomatos sound like they have blossom end rot. It comes from inconsistant watering & not enough food. All you can do is take off all tomatos that have the black end, water daily & give them some plant food - high potassium fertilizer, it's usually sold as Tomato food. Tomatos are heavy feeders so next year mix some fertilizer with the soil in the hole (magnesium is good & you can buy it cheap - it's sold as epsom salts. Good Luck SuZie & SpYke Kathy brunow <kathy-boo@...> wrote: SuZie not really sure about the different type there are so bear with me.. Mack is very pale and at this moment his points are grey!!
