Guest guest
> My daughter was just diagnosed with plagiocephaly and her appointment > is tomorrw. What should I expect?Just some questions for you...How old is your daughter? Did your pediatrician diagnois her? Is the appointment tommorrow with a neuro surgeon? My Zachary is 12 months old and was finally diagnois by a new doctor. In just two weeks he had Xrays, a visit to a peds neuro surgeon, a visit to the orthotist for his casting and will get his band next week. It was a tough two weeks but I feel excited that we are finally on the road to improvement. You'll have some decisions to make so read though all of the postings. We have every age group and all levels of plagio here so I'm sure you get anwsers. Its help me a lot and now even things like cleaning and decorating. Good luck and fill us in on more

She had x-rays on Tuesday also, which showed her sutures were all still open. Which meant she had plagio. Tomorrow we go for her head casting. I was just wondering what to expect there? Guest guest
We just had a casting done last Friday at Cranial Tech - is that where you're going? If so, I can tell you pretty specifically what to expect! jc2726@... wrote: > > > > > > > > My daughter is 4 months old and was diagnosed by the neuro surgeon on > Tuesday. Guest guest
We had our first visit with Dr. G about 2 month ago. You will be amazed. Listen to all what Dr. Goldberg have to say. It only make sense. We were very nervous, but Dr. G and his staff made us very comfortable. Good Luck Moustafa first visit Hi all, We got the results of all the labwork back (except the Meridian Valley allergy screen) in preparation for our first appointment with Dr. Goldberg next week. My son's Pediatrician said EVERYTHING looks completely normal. He is curious about what Dr. Goldberg is going to say. In fact, he made a comment along the lines of " it will be great if he can work a miracle " which I guess means there is nothing for Dr. G to work off of. It seems like some of you have mentioned a similar beginning. Can anyone who was in the same boat please comment? I guess I'm getting nervous as we approach the visit. thanks! Guest guest
Timary, don't worry. Chaia, my oldest child's, bloodwork was also virtually normal in December when we went to see Dr. G. He felt like she had based on the history I provided and also felt like the virus was working as part of her system, kind of in behind things. The last bloodwork that we had done indicated HHV6 titers of 1:1280 when in December they were 1:40. I freaked out, but Dr. G said that it just meant that he was right in December. He said something like that because we were fighting the virus it was finally showing its face. I'll keep you in my prayers! Let us know how it goes when you get back. Don't forget your tape recorder. Guest guest
Timary, I remember reading a number of posts of parents who said initial blood work was normal and after start of treatment all of the skeletons started coming out of the closet, so to speak. So don't be nervous...DR G has been at this a long time and it is new to your pediatrician. And it sounds like you are VERY lucky to have one so interested! One point I would make is to get copies of ALL of your child's blood work, whatever has already been done, and all future. Then you have it in hand and know the numbers for sure! > Hi all, > > We got the results of all the labwork back (except the Meridian > Valley allergy screen) in preparation for our first appointment with > Dr. Goldberg next week.
