Glad you had a good time girl, I also went to a pool party , and took my queso...yummmm, she had buffalo wings (chicken), I'll never understand why they call em that...Ive eaten buffalo meat and it sure dont taste like chicken!Haaa.....Have a good day...Pat

The dance was last night ~

The dance could have gone a LOT better! At some level a decision was made to have the regular 8p meeting and then the pre-dance speaker meeting at 9p and not start the dance until 10p (of course by that time most of the people were gone). The eating part was good, the queso was gone almost immediately, but I managed to give myself my very first case of heartburn (never had it before in my life) with the fried chicken (Hartz, from one of our less gifted members) and that was freaky. Then the DJ didn't show up mostly because the lady from area who was supposed to set it up didn't tell him he was supposed to. But, someone brought in a home stereo and there was some dancing (mostly the kids) but the ones who CHOSE to had a great time. I had a great time and got some good pictures of those who chose to dance and my sponsor got some pictures of me. I'll send those when I get the film developed and find out where to send them to.

A party/dance is what is scheduled and there shouldn't be

anything else on for the night. A good place might be a Community Center

or a veterans hall. A boom box could be available and people bring their

own CDs to let every one enjoy and learn about the group through their

musical tastes. There is not much of a cost involved in a plan like this

and it works.

My taste in music is much more of a variety now that Im older...love the soft reggae, or carribienne(sp?) that Ive not heard up till now...we have an alternative station here that the college runs, KSYM FM...and they have such a changing format day to day...Its great!
