I'm not a movie snob and it was okay, but I don't often go to the movies because most people don't want to see the things I want to. I had a good time a few years back going to movies by myself--it almost became as fun as going to the library. Also, the movie theatre by us is 9 dollars after 6:00. NINE dollars? That's insane! If you love something, set it free! So it is with books. Guest guest
It was a matinee--$5.50. Much more reasonable. > > Last movie I saw was " War of the Worlds " . > > > > Rainbow > > > > That was the last movie I saw too, until unfortunately I went along > with group consensus and saw 'Big Momma's House' yesterday. Guest guest
We didn't get any snacks because we were going to dinner afterward. Once in a while I'll get a popcorn but they are outrageously priced. I also often end of sitting next to people who are pigging out and that makes me lose my appetite--I think they think people can't see them in the dark but seeing peripherally/sensing/hearing their gorgefest puts me off (and then my clumsy self ends up tripping over their extry extry large popcorn and drink containers on the way out. Say, have drink containers been this large for a while? I was a little shocked at how huge they were!) I love the smell of popcorn better than the taste, anyway, and do love to smell it in the movie theatre. I love the smell of coffee better than the taste and several other things. Does anyone else do this with smells? I do have a strong sense of smell. So far no non-Aspergers I've asked have experienced this. It's good for dieting. Another reason I don't go to the movies often is that they're too loud and the large figures on the screen moving around combined with the ear shattering sound makes me stressed and tired. > > > : " Also, the movie theatre by us is 9 dollars after 6:00. > NINE dollars?
