American Heart Association forums- Deleted Data

Hey all, I have been reading the forums on the American heart

association.

I can tell you that this group is highly in favor of lowering

cholesterol, and firmly believes that saturated fat and cholesterol

are the underlying cause of heart disease. They beleive that lowering

cholesterol will prevent heart disease.

I started a new thread under cholesterol management. The title of my

thread was THE FRENCH AND HEART DISEASE. My subject matter dealt with

the lower rates of heart disease in France than the USA. I was polite

in my posting and reflected on my interview with a couple from Biot

France about their diet and lifestyle.

Of course this meant having to tell people what they ate. Lots of

cheese. A croissant and coffee for breakfast. 4 eggs per week. fish

two times per week. And they eat red meat once in a while and they

love Lamb. Lots of fresh fruit and veggies from the local farmers

market. Whole milk. And this couple only drink wine on special

occasions.

This apparantly didn't sit too well with the administrators and they

deleted my posting. Maybe it will reappear, but it doesn't look good.

This suggests to me that the AMA will delete or ignore data that goes

against what they preach. Even if its 100% accurate Data.

I think your assumption is accurate. The AHA doesn't have any interest

in resolve heart disease, only in keeping their member doctors in

business and limiting the availability of doctors, the real prime

purpose of any of these medical associations to exist. The American

Diabetic Association recommends a diet that causes diabetes to progress.

The American Cancer Society recommend that no one take vitamin D after

it was shown to reduce all causes of cancer by 77% taking just 1000

IU/day of D3. I don't trust any of those organizations nor the food

pyramid.
