Could you take her in to the ER at a time when they are less busy?? I

would call first and ask. I know it's risky, but it sounds like an x-ray is in

order--I would hate to wait too long. I would put ice on it if it feels

better!!

Ice can be a pain reliever way beyond 48 hours. I hope she gets better

soon!!!

I hope Autumn is soon on the mend. I know when I broke my ankle (many years

ago), it was an obvious break and I was unable to walk at all. I know this

is probably of no help to you right now though.

Go with your gut instinct and if she is in obvious pain, I would definitely

have it checked. Good luck and let us know the outcome.
