We see the same nurses every time and they are all familiar with and her past infusion history which is nice. Also, what I gathered from you info is that maybe the first time with the Flebogamma might be the worst and the subsequent infusions might be better as her body gets used to it. It that right? Jeane, I'm sorry I've been absent for a while. So far, the first infusion of Flebogamma was the worst. On Friday, we have infusion #3--I will be sure to let you know how it goes. Meanwhile, I have had a conversation with my son's former allergist/immunologist. He told me that if Bri is having reactions to do two things: slow down the rate and lessen the total amount of grams given. Bri has been getting 15 grams and he suggested going down to 10 until his body has a chance to get used to it. It's always the Docs who write the orders--so that's usually who you need to direct your questions to. I'm glad was feeling better. How is she now?? When is your next infusion??
