Guest guest Posted March 6, 2007 Report Share Posted March 6, 2007 I was taken off zocor because it raised my cholesterol. Placed on lipitor to hopefully solve the problem. I was told that the side effects are usually not severe enough to bother with. I went to my doctor, which was out to lunch (in more ways than one). I told her nurse that I was having side effects. She said, like what. Muscle pain in lower calf, upper thigh and going into the hips. I'm feeling tired and weak, which I wasn't before lipitor. Feel nauseated and am having headaches I never had before. She took all my information and said she would relay to the doctor. The doctor will probably put you on something else. Check with your pharmacy after 5pm tonight to see if she gave you anything else. So now I'm in limbo. I'm starting to feel like an experiment, we'll just keep giving you different drugs until we find one that works. What a confidence builder.
