Guest guest
Find a doctor who reads information like this website and the book. Not everybody has these symptoms I'm in a similar boat as you regarding the " fogged-out " feeling. I joined this blog a short while ago, read the blog entries, bought the book and read it. Started taking different statins starting at age 43 because I was borderline. The cardiologist didn't tell me about side effects and I trusted too much. When I worked my way up to Crestor and went off it after about a year, I told my cardiologist that I couldn't focus, was fatigued. Went to a family practice doctor, explained the symptoms including fog and muscle problems and he did nothing. I think I checked 1/4 of the symptoms on the form. Went back to the family doctor (yes the same one, another symptom of taking Crestor) after talking to a psychologist 3 months ago about my " Fog " . The doctor wanted to prescribe me Prozac for depression. No Thanks. I've experienced enough side effects from Crestor. Going to my wife's doctor on Monday. I've been told she listens but wish me luck. I'm not usually prone to see doctors or psychologists. The fog isn't as bad, but I still do not have my full cognitive faculties back. Not everybody gets these symptoms, but to ignore them when a patient visits with concerns about side effects is irresponsible. I wonder if he's in the drug companies pockets. Best wishes. > > Hi Everyone: > > I'm so glad I found this board. So, here's the Reader's Digest > version: I took myself off of lipitor (10mg) a little over a week > ago. Have terrible side effects. Guest guest
High cholesterol is an invented disease that was created in order for the drug companies to market statin drugs under a patent. A patent gives companies exclusive rights to market their products for 17 years and charge high prices. This is how companies like Pfizer and Merck make their billions. High cholesterol IS NOT the cause of heart disease. Sometimes its best to stay as far away from a doctor as possible unless one loves being harmed by them. phine > > Find a doctor who reads information like this website and the book. > Not everybody has these symptoms > > I'm in a similar boat as you regarding the " fogged-out " feeling. > I joined this blog a short while ago, read the blog entries, bought > the book and read it.
